The result is going to be a tournament filled with international stars, national team leaders and rising talents who will soon be setting their sights on the Leagues Cup.
For MLS and Liga MX fans, the World Cup provides something unique: the opportunity to see Leagues Cup-bound players compete in top-flight matches long before the opening whistle of the tournament. Whether it's Messi chasing another trophy, Canada's next generation making its mark, Mexico's core strengthening its chemistry, or emerging stars from across the globe announcing themselves to a wider audience, the World Cup is packed with storylines that extend far beyond regional bragging rights.
