Orlando City 2, Monterrey 1
After a weather delay, Orlando City weathered relentless pressure from CF Monterrey—including three disallowed goals and a penalty overturned by VAR—to begin its Leagues Cup campaign with a 2-1 victory on Wednesday at Inter.co Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Orlando City opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a first-time finish by FIFA World Cup champion Antoine Griezmann.
FC Dallas 2, Querétaro 0
FC Dallas opened its 2026 Leagues Cup campaign with a 2-0 victory over Querétaro FC on Wednesday at Texas Health Mansfield Stadium in Mansfield, Texas, capitalizing on its chances while goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois delivered another standout performance to secure a second consecutive clean sheet.
