Leagues Cup 2025 Broadcast Details Announced

Coverage of All 62 Matches Available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV with Most Matches Also Available to Apple TV+ Subscribers Around the World

Leagues Cup today announced broadcast details for all 62 matches of the 2025 edition of the official, Concacaf-sanctioned tournament featuring Major League Soccer (MLS) and LIGA MX clubs. The competition will run from July 29 to August 31, 2025.

Leagues Cup 2025 introduces a new two-phase format, with exclusively MLS vs. LIGA MX matchups through the Quarterfinals. Entering its third year, the tournament continues to spotlight the long-standing rivalry between the two leagues, bringing top-tier North American soccer to fans across the region.

All Leagues Cup matches will stream on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, the subscription service from Apple and Major League Soccer available on Apple devices, Android devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes, and game consoles, as well as on DIRECTV, Xfinity, and the web at tv.apple.com available globally in over 100 countries.

In addition, more than half of Leagues Cup matches (37) will also be available for Apple TV+ subscribers at no additional cost, including all Knockout Round matches.

Matches will be available with commentary in English, Spanish, or French where available. Subscribers can enjoy exclusive on-demand Leagues Cup content and a comprehensive and accessible lineup of complimentary programming, including Leagues Cup Countdown and Leagues Cup Wrap-Up in English, and Leagues Cup La Previa and Leagues Cup El Resumen in Spanish.

Leagues Cup 2025 on Linear Television in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico

In the United States, TelevisaUnivision will air 16 total matches,11 in Phase One and five in the Knockout Rounds, including the Final, on its Spanish-language networks Univision, UniMas and TUDN. FS1 will broadcast 14 matches: 12 in Phase One and two in the Knockout Rounds, delivering key games to English-speaking audiences. In Canada, TSN will carry 14 matches, with RDS also presenting 7 of the matches in French.

In Mexico, a total of 16 matches will air, 12 during Phase One and four during the Knockout Stage, with five matches airing exclusively on Televisa and ten exclusively on TV Azteca. The final will simulcast on both networks.

Leagues Cup 2025 Phase One Schedule Highlights

  • Phase One of Leagues Cup 2025 will take place Tuesday, July 29, through Thursday, August 7, with fifty-four rivalry matches over nine days of jam-packed action.
  • Opening night will feature a showdown between champions as reigning Leagues Cup champion Columbus Crew begins its title defense against LIGA MX champion Club Toluca at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio (7 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, Apple TV+).
  • Club León, led by Colombian star James Rodríguez, will visit CF Montréal at Stade Saputo in Montreal, Canada (7 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, Apple TV+, TSN, RDS).
  • NYCFC hosts Puebla at Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey (8 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, Apple TV+, TV Azteca).
  • LAFC welcomes Mazatlán FC to BMO Stadium in Los Angeles (10:30 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, Apple TV+, TV Azteca).
  • That same night, Tigres will face Houston Dynamo FC at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas (9 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, UniMás, TUDN, TSN).
  • Also on opening night, MLS expansion club San Diego FC will make its tournament debut at Snapdragon Stadium, led by Mexican national star Hirving “Chucky” Lozano. The match carries added weight as Lozano faces Club Pachuca, the team that launched his professional career. (11 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, Apple TV+, FS1).
  • On day two, Inter Miami CF, led by Lionel Messi and managed by Javier Mascherano, opens its Leagues Cup campaign at home against Atlas FC at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The 2023 champions aim to reclaim the title they captured in the tournament’s inaugural edition. (7:30 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV).
  • Club América,16-time LIGA MX champions, travels to face Real Salt Lake at America First Field in Sandy, Utah, in a rematch 15 years in the making. The two sides last met in the 2009 Xango Cup, where RSL claimed a 1–0 victory. (9:30 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV).
  • Chivas de Guadalajara heads to New Jersey to face the New York Red Bulls at Sports Illustrated Stadium on July 31, with one of Mexico’s most storied clubs meeting an MLS contender in front of a diverse, energized crowd. (7:30 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV).
  • Cruz Azul kicks off its Leagues Cup campaign with a high-stakes rematch against Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field, months after their Concacaf Champions Cup clash.
    With both teams looking to settle the score, expect a charged atmosphere in the Emerald City. (10:30 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, Apple TV+, UniMás, TUDN, FS1, TSN, Televisa).
  • That same night, LA Galaxy hosts Club Tijuana at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif., in a clash of border rivals. With deep fan bases on both sides of the border and decades of cross-league ties, this match brings West Coast intensity to the international stage.   • The weekend action takes Club América to Shell Energy Stadium as they meet Minnesota United for the first time since 2023 on Saturday, August 2 in Houston. (9 p.m. ET, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, Apple TV+, Univision, TUDN, FS1, TSN, RDS).
