Leagues Cup today announced that Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, TX, will host the Leagues Cup 2026 Final and Third-Place Match on Sunday, September 6, bringing the tournament’s final four clubs together for a Championship Doubleheader at one destination.
The Leagues Cup 2026 Final will feature Toluca FC vs. C.F. Monterrey, with both clubs competing for the tournament title and the Leagues Cup champion earning direct entry to the Round of 16 of the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup. Earlier in the day, Club León vs. Club América will meet in the Third-Place Match, with Club León competing to secure Concacaf Champions Cup qualification and Club América competing for the tournament’s final podium position.
The doubleheader will close a tournament that began with 36 MLS and LIGA MX clubs and culminates with four LIGA MX semifinalists competing for the final podium positions. With Toluca FC, C.F.
