Tournament media applications must be submitted by July 22 at 5 p.m. EST, prior to the start of Phase One matches
The accreditation application is now open to media for Leagues Cup 2025. The third consecutive edition of the Concacaf-sanctioned competition will run between July 29 and August 31 and feature a new format with all 18 clubs from LIGA MX and 18 qualified clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS), as well as interleague matches exclusively for the entirety of Phase One and the Quarterfinals stage.
Leagues Cup 2025 will kick off on Tuesday, July 29 with opening night featuring a series of six highly anticipated matchups between teams from the two leagues. Columbus Crew, the reigning Leagues Cup champion, will take on Club Toluca at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio (7 p.m. ET), as they look to defend their title. San Diego FC, featuring Mexico’s Hirving “Chucky” Lozano, will face Club Pachuca - where Lozano began his professional career - at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, Calif. (11 p.m. ET). Club León, featuring Colombian National Team star James Rodríguez in their squad, will debut in the tournament when visiting CF Montréal at Stade Saputo in Montreal, Canada (7 p.m. ET). Fans in over 100 countries and regions will be able to watch Leagues Cup on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. In addition, TelevisaUnivision's various television networks, FOX Sports, TSN, and RDS will be the linear broadcast home for select Leagues Cup matches.

Media wishing to attend a match should apply by 5 p.m. EST, seven days prior to Phase One matches and two days prior to each Knockout Stage match. No late applications or changes will be accepted after those dates.
Please note the following when applying for credentials:
- MLS or LIGA MX regular season club or league credentials will not be accepted.
- No credential applications will be accepted after the deadline.
- The amount of credentials per media outlet will be limited.
- Field access is available for photographers with professional-grade equipment only. No other media members, including non-rights TV crews, will receive field access.
- All approved media will have access to the press box and post-match media work areas, such as the press conference.
- Photo agencies must be on assignment from a specific news outlet and must provide written proof from assignment or photo editor.
- Media present at the venue must follow all Leagues Cup and stadium
- Media who are approved for credentials should not wear apparel supporting any of the tournament's competing teams, including soccer jerseys or any other team-branded attire.
- All event rights-holders should contact Johanna Rojas at rojas@mlssoccer.com for the application process.
- All accredited media will be required to follow the Leagues Cup Media Guidelines as part of the credentialing process.
- Credentials are only to be used for working functions. Tickets to view a match must be purchased separately.
