Media Accreditation Applications Now Open for Leagues Cup

Accreditation application is now open to media for the historic and highly-anticipated Leagues Cup 2023. The competition will feature all 47 first division clubs in Canada, Mexico and the United States in a World Cup-style club tournament taking place July 21 – August 19, 2023.

The month-long competition will consist of 77 matches and will crown the winner among MLS and LIGA MX clubs. The champion, as well as the second and third place finishers will qualify for the Concacaf Champions Cup and an opportunity to earn a spot in the FIFA Club World Cup.

The online media credential applications for each match is now open and accepting requests at the following link:

Click here to view a schedule of all Leagues Cup 2023 matches. Deadline will apply to knockout stage matches, once announced.

Media wishing to attend a match should apply by 5 p.m. EST, seven days prior to Group Stage matches and 2 days prior to each Knockout round match. No late applications or changes will be accepted after those dates.

Tickets for all matches are available on LeaguesCup.com and are also available to fans via the hosting MLS club. MLS club season ticket holders should contact their club representative for more information or visit LeaguesCup.com and follow @LeaguesCup on social.

Leagues Cup represents a monumental new chapter for North American soccer. Beginning in 2023, Major League Soccer and LIGA MX will pause their seasons each summer and all 47 first division professional soccer clubs in the U.S., Mexico and Canada will compete in a World Cup-style tournament, which will qualify the top three finishers to the Concacaf Champions Cup. Leagues Cup 2023 will kick off Friday, July 21 and will feature 77 games hosted at stadiums throughout the U.S. and Canada, with the Final taking place on Saturday, August 19.
