Jhohan Romaña

Romaña joined Austin FC as a transfer from Club Guaraní of Paraguay on December 22, 2020. He made 35 appearances for Austin across the 2021 and 2022 seasons before returning to Paraguay on loan at Club Olimpia for the 2023 season.

During his time with Guaraní, Romaña made 31 appearances including 12 in the 2020 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores, scoring one goal in group stage play. Prior to joining Guaraní, the Apartadó, Colombia, native spent the 2016-18 seasons with six-time Colombian Champions Independiente Medellín, making two starts across all competitions and helping Independiente Medellín win the 2016 Torneo Apertura.
