Media accreditation is now open for the Leagues Cup 2026 Knockout Rounds, with eight clubs advancing from Phase One to compete for the tournament title and three berths in the Concacaf Champions Cup.
The Leagues Cup 2026 Quarterfinals will be played on August 25 and 26, featuring the following MLS vs. LIGA MX matchups:
- C.F. Monterrey vs. Chicago Fire FC | 8:30 ET | August 25 at SeatGeek Stadium
- Club León vs. Real Salt Lake | 10:30 ET | August 25 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park
- Toluca FC vs Austin FC | 8:30 ET | August 26 at Sports Illustrated Stadium
- Club América vs. Columbus Crew | 10:45 ET | August 26 at Dignity Health Sports Park
The four Quarterfinal winners will advance to the Semifinals on September 1–2, with the Leagues Cup 2026 Final and Third Place Match set for September 6. View the complete Leagues Cup 2026 schedule here.
Media Accreditation
\\Media planning to cover a Leagues Cup 2026 Knockout Round match must complete the applicable credentialing process by 5 p.m. ET two (2) days prior to the match.
MEDIA PREVIOUSLY APPROVED FOR PHASE ONE
Media already approved for a Leagues Cup 2026 Phase One Tournament Credential do not need to reapply for tournament accreditation. Please use the expedited link sent directly to your registered email to request credentials for each Knockout Round match you plan to cover.
MEDIA NOT PREVIOUSLY ACCREDITED FOR PHASE ONE - LEAGUES CUP 2026
Media who are not accredited for Phase One must:
- Apply for and receive approval for a Leagues Cup 2026 Tournament Credential using this link: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/fba026410bf942d4b8d7b671ea7a6761
- Once approved, submit a credential request for each Knockout Round match they plan to cover using the instructions provided upon approval.
Both steps must be completed by 5 p.m. ET two (2) days prior to the applicable match. Media are strongly encouraged to apply early to allow sufficient time for Tournament Credential approval and completion of the match-specific request. Late applications or changes will not be accepted.
Important Credential Information
General Details:
- MLS or LIGA MX regular season credentials will not be accepted; however, applications from club and league media will be expedited.
- Credential allocations are limited.
- Credentials are for working purposes only. Match tickets must be purchased separately.
- All accredited media must comply with the Leagues Cup Media Regulations and the Media Access, Coverage, and Content Guidelines.
- Accredited media must comply with all Leagues Cup and stadium policies while at the venue.
- Media must remain apparel-neutral and may not wear team jerseys or club-branded apparel.
- Approved media will have access to designated media work areas, including the press box and post-match press conference, as applicable.
Photographers
- Field access is limited to accredited photographers using professional-grade equipment. Field access is not available to non-rights-holding television crews or other media representatives.
- Photo agencies must be on assignment for a specific news outlet and provide written proof of assignment.
