Media accreditation is now open for Leagues Cup 2026, the Concacaf-sanctioned competition that brings together all 18 LIGA MX teams and 18 qualified MLS clubs in a fully interleague tournament.
Now in its fourth edition, Leagues Cup 2026 will be played from August 4 through September 6, continuing the momentum of a landmark summer for soccer in North America following the FIFA World Cup 2026 and showcasing many of the region's top clubs and players.

Media Accreditation
Media wishing to cover the Leagues Cup 2026 must apply for accreditation through the online media accreditation portal: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/019ef71b989d77e9a67ac2032309f08e.

Media accreditation is a two-step process:
Step 1: Apply for a Tournament Credential
- Complete the tournament credential application using the link above.
- Tournament credential applications must be submitted by Tuesday, July 28 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Step 2: Apply for Match-Specific Credentials
- Once your tournament credential has been approved, you will receive instructions on how to submit requests for individual matches.
- Tournament credential approval does not automatically grant access to individual matches.
- Match-specific credential requests remain subject to approval and venue capacity.
Match-Specific Credential Deadlines
Once approved for a tournament credential, match-specific credential requests must be submitted by:
- Phase One Matches: No later than 5:00 p.m. local time, three (3) days prior to matchday. Please note: Matches at NuStadium require requests to be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. local time, five (5) days prior to matchday.
- Knockout Stage Matches: No later than 5:00 p.m. local time, two (2) days prior to matchday. Additional information regarding the credential request process for the Knockout Stage will be distributed once the tournament bracket has been finalized.
Late applications or changes will not be accepted
Important Credential Information
General Information:
- MLS or LIGA MX regular season credentials will not be accepted; however, applications from club and league media will be expedited.
- Credential allocations are limited.
- Credentials are for working purposes only. Match tickets must be purchased separately.
- All accredited media must comply with the Leagues Cup Media Regulations and the Media Access, Coverage, and Content Guidelines.
- Accredited media must comply with all Leagues Cup and stadium policies while at the venue.
- Media must remain apparel-neutral and may not wear team jerseys or club-branded apparel.
- Approved media will have access to designated media work areas, including the press box and post-match press conference, as applicable.
Photographers
- Field access is limited to accredited photographers using professional-grade equipment. Field access is not available to non-rights-holding television crews or other media representatives.
- Photo agencies must be on assignment for a specific news outlet and provide written proof of assignment.
