Toluca and LAFC face off in Leagues Cup 2026 on Saturday at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Both teams will eye a victory to increase their chances of advancing.

- Defense will need to be very disciplined and will require a perfect game to stop a high-octane offense like Toluca.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
Toluca is one of the clubs with the most experience and balance in the region and now hits the road to face LAFC. Expect Toluca to seize control and possession from the get-go and use their different weapons up top to hurt the LA defense and score.
It won’t be easy for either club, but LAFC does have the home advantage, as they are unbeaten in 11 matches at BMO Stadium. The Black and Gold are also strong at home in Leagues Cup play, with seven victories and four going to penalties – as was the case in their opening loss of the tournament on PKs to Chivas de Guadalajara.
LAFC needs to play a sharp defensive game to neutralize Toluca's different weapons up top and be very efficient with the scoring opportunities they create.
Fresh off a dominant 3-0 victory over Seattle, Toluca FC has earned 41% of the market. That's compared to 35% for LAFC, which enters the matchup after claiming the extra point in a penalty-shootout thriller against Chivas.
