Leagues Cup

Matchday 12 will begin on Friday, March 17 with three games, but without a doubt, the clásicos that will be played this weekend are the ones that take the spotlight. Tigres and Monterrey will meet at the Estadio Universitario, while Chivas will host América at the Estadio Akron. Don't miss our preview of some of the weekend's biggest matches.

Tigres vs. Monterrey: A tremendous confrontation will take place in Nuevo León in the Clásico Regio. The visitors are the overall leaders on 28 points, while Tigres are in third place with 21 points, the same as Toluca and Chivas. Rayados haven't lost since Matchday 1, while Marco Antonio Ruíz's side are coming off a painful defeat against América.

Chivas vs. América: It'a big moment to have the Clásico Nacional. The two teams are both in very good form and are fighting to qualify directly for the Liguilla. El Rebaño Sagrado lost in the last round against Puebla, but they arrive strengthened by the possible inclusion of Alexis Vega. For their part, Las Águilas won away to Tigres.

Pumas vs. Pachuca: This is a game with plenty of implications. The hosts are going through a tough run with four losses in their last five games and this represents what may be a last chance to qualify for the Liguilla. On the other side, Los Tuzos have dropped to sixth place after a defeat suffered at home against Rayados.
