Leagues Cup

NEW YORK CITY & MEXICO CITY (August 8, 2021) – The 25-player competition rosters for Leagues Cup were announced today, with just two days away from kicking off. Alan Pulido (Sporting KC), Ángel Mena (Leon), Raúl Ruidíaz (Seattle Sounders) and Florian Thauvin (Tigres) headline the two matches set for August 10 in Kansas City and Seattle. On Tuesday, the teams will select 23 of these 25 players for the Matchday Rosters.

The tournament, which will be played in its entirety in the U.S., is scheduled to begin August 10 with the quarterfinals. The semifinals are slated for September 14-15, before the competition concludes in Las Vegas with the final, set for September 22 at Allegiant Stadium.

The 2021 edition of Leagues Cup will feature Tigres, Pumas, León and Santos Laguna from LIGA MX, while Sporting Kansas City, Orlando City SC, Seattle Sounders FC and New York City FC will represent MLS -- tickets for the tournament are available here.
